I smiled when she talked about her broken nose and the Presidential M&Ms.
I was speechless when she started playing.
I started to believe angels do exist when she played the song she wrote for Ellen's wedding. (Sweetly named 'Once Upon a Wish' as Ellen got her wish marrying her love in August.)
N.B. This 7-year-old's name is Emily Bear.

She is really really sweet and talented. "To have a better world, we need better people." But I dont want her to be my kid, basically, I dont want my kids to be THAT talented.
每次看見天才兒童,我也有一種恐懼,立刻想起「傷仲永」。當她七歲便能人所不能時,在驚訝與讚嘆的背後,她的路要怎麼走才適合?
這是一個run-away-teacher的話,what a shame..........
是想多了,這世界多一個天才是一大好事,望她能愉快成長。
No, not a shame at all. I bet anybody having seen this girl has all these questions in mind too: Is her talent actually good or bad for her? How can she grow up healthily with this kind of spotlight on her? What happens if she fails people's expectations?
I don't have any answers to these questions, but what I know is that children like her are living proof of human dreams. We must treasure, protect, love and respect any gift from heaven as good as her, whatever the cost - because if life is going to be extraordinarily difficult for them, this is what they need to go on.
